Job summary

Manson Construction Co. is seeking an EHS Specialist I to help implement the company's safety program across assigned offshore and field projects.

You will support routine safety assessments, assist with basic training, and help manage incident reporting while collaborating with project teams. Travel to project locations is typically required as part of maintaining a safe and incident-free work environment.

Qualifications

  • 0-5 years of cumulative safety experience, preferably within heavy civil construction, dredging, oil and gas, or other maritime related project(s)
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in occupational health & safety, engineering, construction management, or related field OR AA/AAS degree with 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Must have a valid Driver's License, and acceptable driving record. BCSP certification (e.g., STSC) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supports safety program implementation on projects and reinforces safe work practices.
  • Attends safety meetings, pre-job briefings, and safety planning sessions.
  • Performs routine onsite safety observations and audits to monitor compliance.
  • Documents safety violations and tracks corrective actions to closure.
  • Coaches field teams on safety practices and coordinates with offshore crews.
