Job summary

C&M Dredging Inc. in Leesburg, FL, is seeking a diligent Dredge Oiler to perform preventive maintenance on diesel engines, pumps, hydraulic systems, generators, and other dredging equipment.

You will monitor performance, inspect machinery, and assist with repairs to minimize downtime, while adhering to safety regulations and company policies. The role requires mechanical aptitude, reliability, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work outdoors in varied weather.

Qualifications

• Experience as a dredge oiler or in marine/heavy equipment maintenance.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Reliable transportation.
• Driver's License.
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
• MSHA/OSHA certification a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Lubricate and maintain dredge and booster equipment as well as on-site heavy equipment.
• Assist with routine maintenance and repairs.
• Monitor engines, pumps, and mechanical systems.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Work effectively as part of the C&M Family.
• Document daily equipment maintenance reports.
