Qualifications

  • Ability to travel and work extended assignments when required.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds.

Offshore Deckhands - Travel Through Florida & Bahamas - 96' Steel Workboat - Up to $225/day

Deckhands are needed for TowBoatU.S. Ft. Lauderdale to serve aboard a 96-foot Offshore Supply Vessel based in Dania Beach, Florida. This company offers a dynamic marine environment with opportunities for towing, salvage, transportation, and special project operations. Ideal candidates are safety-focused, dependable, and eager to gain hands-on experience in offshore and commercial marine operations.

What You'll Need
  • STCW Certification

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work on deck for extended periods
  • Ability to work on uneven, wet, and slippery surfaces
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat, humidity, rain, wind, and offshore environments
  • Ability to safely work around cranes, winches, towing gear, and moving equipment
  • Ability to work long hours while underway on charter or project assignments
  • Ability to respond to emergencies and perform physically demanding tasks when required
  • Ability to swim and dive in inland waterways and the ocean
What Will Make You Stand Out
  • Previous offshore vessel experience
  • Mechanical aptitude and vessel maintenance experience
  • Experience with cranes, lifting, and rigging operations
  • Experience with towing operations and line handling
  • Experience aboard offshore supply vessels, tugboats, workboats, or commercial vessels
  • Knowledge of marine safety procedures and equipment
