Job summary

Energy Job Shop is seeking Marine Deckhands for Florida Bunkering. You will live on a vessel, working 14 days on and 14 days off, and help prepare barges for safe loading and discharging of oil, refined, and petrochemical cargoes.

Safety-focused, physically fit candidates with MMC Tank Barge PIC endorsement, USCG medical certificate, TWIC, and ability to pass drug testing are required. Florida residency and 18+ with US work eligibility are essential. Training provided on and off ship.

Qualifications

• Must have Florida residency and MMC Tank Barge PIC endorsement.
• Valid USCG Medical Certificate and TWIC.
• Ability to pass USCG physical and drug testing.
• Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the US.
• Able to walk 2-3 miles daily, climb ladders, lift 75 lbs, and carry 50 lbs for 350 ft.

Responsibilities

• Prepare barges for safe loading and discharging of cargo.
• Live on vessel during 14 days on/14 days off schedule.
• Operate firefighting and spill containment equipment as needed.
• Maintain safety and comply with USCG regulations.

Marine Deckhands - Live On Board Florida Bunkering - 14/14 - FL

This company is seeking Deckhands/Tank Barge PICs for their Florida Bunkering operations. The role involves preparing barges for the safe loading and discharging of oil, refined, and petrochemical cargoes. Candidates will work a 14 days on, 14 days off schedule, living and working on the vessel during their shift. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, physically fit, and able to work in close quarters for extended periods.

What You'll Need

• Florida residency required
• Valid Merchant Mariner's Credential (MMC) with Tank Barge PIC endorsement
• Valid USCG Medical Certificate
• Valid TWIC and driver's license
• Ability to pass USCG physical and drug testing
• Must be 18 years of age and a U.S. Citizen or eligible to work in the US
• Ability to walk 2-3 miles per day, climb ladders, lift up to 75 lbs, and carry 50 lbs for 350 feet
• Ability to work in inclement weather and live/work on a vessel for 14 days at a time
• No DWI/DUI in the last three years; no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to use firefighting and spill containment equipment
