Job summary

Allseas Group S.A. is seeking a Third Engineer Deck to support the safe operation of deck machinery on offshore vessels. You will report to the Shift Leader Deck and collaborate with a skilled technical team across worldwide projects.

The role requires maritime engineering education, STCW compliance, a valid CoC (III/1 or higher), and at least three years of deck engineering experience. Proficiency in English (A2) and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Maritime engineering education and STCW compliance required.
• CoC with competency level III/1 or higher, with no limitations.
• Minimum 3 years’ general deck engineering experience.
• Experience with deck equipment (winches, cranes, lifesaving appliances, hydraulics).
• First offshore construction, dredging or pipelay experience preferred.
• A2 level English (spoken and written).
• Computer literacy and ability to read technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent watch keeping & maintenance duties under supervision.
• Execute maintenance and repairs on deck equipment.
• Act as deputy for Shift Leader Deck when required.
• Maintain planned maintenance and statutory logbooks.
• Inform Shift Leader of malfunctions or changes in systems.
• Follow safety procedures and documentations.
• Record corrective actions and fault-finding results.
• Support deck operations during pipelay and heavy lift activities.
