Job summary

Patriot Offshore Maritime Services is seeking a Vessel Master to command a Crew Transfer Vessel supporting offshore wind operations along the US East Coast. The Master leads the crew, ensures safe navigation, and makes critical safety decisions to protect personnel and the environment.

The role requires oversight of vessel readiness, coordination with client representatives, and strict adherence to regulatory requirements. Rotation is 2 weeks on/off with onboard living arrangements on the CTV.

Qualifications

• USCG credentialed vessel master with sailing and seagoing experience.
• Strong navigation, vessel handling and emergency response capabilities.
• Familiarity with Safety Management Systems and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to lead crew and coordinate operations during offshore transfers.

Responsibilities

• Command the Vessels transfer operations safely and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with USCG, COLREGS, FCC and class society regulations.
• Oversee crew duties, watchkeeping, and safety drills.
• Coordinate with clients, shoreside management, and marine coordination personnel.
• Maintain logs, manifests, and maintenance records.
• Lead safety culture and risk assessments onboard.
