Job summary

Resolve Marine Group is seeking a Crane Operator to oversee safe crane and lifting operations, perform daily inspections, and ensure all equipment is in good condition. The role requires NCCCO certification and at least 2 years of licensed crane operation experience, with willingness to work offshore and travel up to 30%.

You will follow JSAs for lifting operations, coordinate with the project team, and maintain equipment per maintenance programs, under safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Current Crane Operator license: Friction and Hydraulic Crane NCCCO Certification.
• 2+ years experience as a licensed Crane Operator.
• Government Issued ID / Driver’s License or Passport.
• Comply with safety policies and guidelines.
• Weather conditions must not impede job performance.
• Team environment capability required.
• TWIC or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Completes daily inspection sheets at the start of each shift and turns sheets into the Facility Superintendent or Project Manager daily.
• Operates all equipment in a safe manner.
• NCCCO certified on the proper use of the equipment to be used by training and evaluation.
• Ensures Job Safety Analysis (JSAs) are in place for all lifting operations.
• Performs pre-use checks and reports defects to Supervisor.
• Ensures lifting appliances and gear are in good condition per manufacturers’ instructions.
• Maintains lifting equipment per maintenance program.
• Performs general maintenance as needed or as directed by Salvage Engineer.
• Carries out pre-use checks of lifting appliances.
• Ensures communication between all personnel involved.
• Coordinates lifting operations with other activities.
• Reports damage to cranes/equipment immediately.
• Able to operate lattice boom, friction and crawler cranes from floating platforms.
• Other duties as assigned.
