Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. is seeking a field service technician to perform crane inspection, troubleshooting and repair offshore. The role involves hydraulic systems, diesel engines and crane rigging, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Candidates should have strong mechanical and hydraulic experience, be able to work independently, and maintain tools and documentation. This is a on-site Gulf region position, with pay commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Mechanical, hydraulic and diesel experience required.
• Knowledge of crane rigging procedures required.
• Good driving record required.
• Ability to work independently.
• Thorough knowledge of API 2C, API RP 2D and API 9A specs and practices.
• Must own hand tools.
• General knowledge of MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair offshore cranes.
• Overhaul winches, valves and hydraulic components.
• Carry out maintenance on diesel engines offshore.
• Perform preventative maintenance for cranes.
• Maintain assigned tools and equipment.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and on time.
• Follow Gulf Crane Services Quality Policy and safety requirements.
• Work with Lead Mechanic on assigned duties.

Job description

Purpose:

Performcrane field service alongside Lead Mechanic, and act as Gulf Crane Services Representative for theCrane Product line.

Responsibilities:

Help Inspect,troubleshoot and repair Ball Ring and King Post Mounted Offshore Marine Cranes.Inspect, troubleshoot and repair cranes-Hydraulic Open Loop Systems. Ability tocompletely overhaul winches, valves and hydraulic components. Perform basictroubleshooting and maintenance required on diesel engines. Carry outpreventative maintenance program for offshore cranes. Observe competitiveactivities. Contribute to Gulf Crane Services image and reputation. Manage andmaintain assigned tools and equipment. Complete all paperwork thorough and ina timely fashion. Know and understand Gulf Crane Services Quality Policy andcomply with all Safety and Environmental requirements. Perform all other duties as required bySupervisor within the physical constraints of the job alongside Lead Mechanic

Skills:

Must have mechanical, hydraulic anddiesel experience. Must know propercrane rigging procedures. Good Drivingrecord. Able to perform tasks independently.
