Job summary

Gulf Crane Services is seeking a field service representative to inspect, troubleshoot and repair offshore cranes and hydraulic systems. The role involves overhaul work on winches, valves and hydraulic components, plus basic diesel engine maintenance, with emphasis on safety and quality policy compliance.

You will carry out preventative maintenance, manage tools, complete paperwork promptly, and operate independently while observing competitive activities to protect the company image.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical, hydraulic and diesel experience.
• Must have completed Braden Winch Training.
• Must know proper crane rigging procedures.
• Good Driving record.
• Able to perform tasks independently.
• Must have thorough knowledge of API spec 2 C, API RP 2 D and API 9 A specifications and practices.
• Must have own hand tools.
• Must have general knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel applications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair Ball Ring and King Post Mounted Offshore Marine Cranes.
• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair cranes-Hydraulic Open Loop Systems.
• Overhaul winches, valves and hydraulic components.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on diesel engines.
• Carry out preventative maintenance program for offshore cranes.
• Observe competitive activities and contribute to Gulf Crane Services image.
• Manage and maintain assigned tools and equipment.
• Complete all paperwork thoroughly and in a timely fashion.
• Know and understand Gulf Crane Services Quality Policy and comply with all Safety and Environmental requirements.
• Perform all other duties as required by Supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
