Job summary

IPT Global is seeking an Offshore Field Specialist for BOP compliance and well control. You will travel offshore to set up and troubleshoot SureTec, verify BOP compliance, and maintain audit-ready records for regulators and operators.

The role requires hands-on BOP experience, familiarity with API 53, strong communication, and safety leadership. Degree not required; rig experience valued. Roles involve 24/7 monitoring support and field training.

Qualifications

• Minimum offshore rig experience in BOP or well control roles.
• Working knowledge of API Standard 53 and regional regulations.
• Ability to communicate clearly from floorhand to company man.
• Current or obtainable safety credentials: BOSIET/HUET, TWIC, and passport.
• Hands-on experience with BOP and pressure testing.

Responsibilities

• Go offshore to set up, run, and troubleshoot SureTec for testing and monitoring.
• Verify BOP compliance across equipment lifecycle and records.
• Review test results and data in real time; flag leaks or overdue maintenance.
• Use SureTec monitoring to track BOP condition and gaps before findings.
• Ensure records are complete and audit-ready for regulators and contractors.
• Support regulatory inspections and third-party verifications with data explanations.
• Train rig personnel on SureTec and compliance workflows.
• Collaborate with 24/7 monitoring team to support operations.
• Lead by example on safety and incident prevention.
