Job summary
IPT Global is seeking a Field Engineer to support field operations at client worksites, including offshore and international locations. You will coordinate well control equipment and barrier testing, support equipment/network installations, troubleshoot field tech, and ensure safe, high-quality service delivery.
You will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to coordinate field activities, resolve issues, document testing processes, and identify opportunities to improve customer
Qualifications
- Demonstrable Subsea Engineering Experience
- Ability to maintain safety and training certifications
- Ability to participate in on-call rotations including nights and weekends
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
- Ability to travel offshore by helicopter/boat
- Ability to obtain TWIC and HUET/BOSIET certifications
- U.S. passport or ability to obtain one
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF creation
Responsibilities
- Coordinate well control equipment and well barrier testing operations
- Plan and manage field testing onshore and offshore sites
- Support equipment and network installations in diverse field environments
- Troubleshoot basic network/connectivity issues on offshore rigs
- Document testing processes and maintain accurate records
- Escalate issues to RTOC and OperationsManager when needed
- Ensure adherence to safety programs and quality service delivery
- Identify opportunities to improve customer support
- Develop BSD files and wellbore schematics
- Perform other duties as assigned
