Job summary

Danos, LLC seeks a Deepwater Ballast Control Operator to ensure offshore facility stability through ballast and fluid transfer operations. A USCG BCO license, safety focus, and hands-on experience with marine operations are essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • USCG BCO license required.
  • Offshore experience preferred.
  • Fully vaccinated.
  • Rigger Certification.
  • Crane Certification.
  • Supervisory experience desired.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate personal leadership in process and occupational safety.
  • Utilize GoM Safe Practices Manual to control and mitigate work hazards.
  • Ensure HSSE standards and OMS compliance.
  • Perform Issuing Authority (IA) or Performing Authority (PA) duties per ISSOW.
  • Manage ballast and fluid transfer operations, vessel maneuvering, and system management.
  • Calculate weight shifts and center of gravity to maintain facility stability.
  • Provide marine input for projects and turnaround preparations.
  • Record maintenance routines and defects in Maximo with detail.
  • Engage in Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives and root-cause investigations.
