Danos in Louisiana seeks a Deepwater Operator A to oversee startup, operation, monitoring and shutdown of process and utility systems, ensuring safety and quality.

You will troubleshoot to optimize sales quality and delivery, maintain compliance, perform testing and calibration, and keep accurate records. The role emphasizes risk assessments and clear communication with maintenance, vendors, and subcontractors offshore.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 4–6 years of experience offshore as a production operator.
• Deepwater production operation experience.
• Understanding of PTW systems, JSAs, and offshore safety practices.
• SAP experience is preferred.
• Good experience with permit to work.
• Medically fit to offshore international standards such as ENG1 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Start up, operate, monitor and shut down offshore process and utility systems.
• Monitor and optimize process parameters within operating requirements.
• Ensure sampling is carried out and results acted upon.
• Troubleshoot to maximize sales quality and delivery volume.
• Maintain discharge water quality within guidelines.
• Operate electrical/hydraulic control panels and safety systems.
• Submit accurate daily production reporting.
• Witness calibrations for meter factors and volumes.
• Carry out all operations safely and environmentally responsibly.
• Operate offshore facility per customer requirements.
• Test, calibrate, maintain and inspect equipment.
• Complete mandatory paperwork for customer/government agencies.
• Coordinate facility logistics.
• Handle chemical treating and handling.
• Apply/remove isolations to assist maintenance.
• Operate under PTW system with risk assessments.
• Advise maintenance on hazards of plant/equipment.
• Maintain clear communications during maintenance.
• Control vendor/subcontractor activities.
• Foster positive working relationships and culture.
