Job summary

VSSI Staffing Services in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Press Operator for a full-time role. Set up, operate, and monitor small offset presses, ensuring color accuracy and alignment while performing routine maintenance to keep production on schedule.

The ideal candidate has offset printing experience and familiarity with Duplicator and/or Ryobi presses, as well as strong attention to detail and the ability to work Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Qualifications

Previous press operator or offset printing experience required.
Experience operating Duplicator and/or Ryobi presses preferred.
Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Ability to work independently and follow production instructions.
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
Ability to work Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor small offset printing presses.
Operate Duplicator and Ryobi printing equipment.
Inspect completed work to ensure accurate color, alignment, and overall print quality.
Monitor production output and meet daily scheduling requirements.
Make basic machine adjustments as needed.
Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
Identify and report equipment or production issues.
Follow all safety procedures and production standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
