Job summary

Castle Pierce is seeking an experienced Offset Press Operator for the day shift in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. You will set up, adjust, monitor and operate an offset press, ensure print meets specs, and maintain speed-to-market.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multi-color printing press per job order.
• Check plates against job number before mounting on press.
• Confirm correct paper loaded in feeder.
• Read job jacket-verify stock, quantity, ink, coating, review any special instructions.
• Run samples and adjust print quality, registration, color settings, throughout the run
• Pull sheets throughout run checking for color variation and print defects.
• Perform preventative weekly maintenance on press.
• Properly handle ink, press chemistry and dispose of any waste.

Do you have strong mechanical skills and are able to manage multiple responsibilities at once? Are you solution-oriented and have strong attention to detail? Castle Pierce is in growth mode and is seeking an experienced offset press operator on day shift. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, monitoring, and operating an offset press. You will ensure that all printed material is in conformance to specifications, print is consistent, and all quality standards are met. You will be responsible for setting up, continuous monitoring, feeding material and adjusting ink throughout a run all while keeping a focus on speed to market.
