Great Northern Oshkosh is seeking an Offset Press Assistant to help set up and operate printing presses for carton packaging. You will adjust press sizes using cassette systems, perform make-ready, and mount plates and blankets as required.

Responsibilities include rotary die cutter make-ready and startups per approved proofs, with a 2:00 pm–12:00 am shift on Monday–Thursday and overtime as needed. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• The Offset Press Assistant helps with the set-up and operation of machines that print specialized customer designs on paper used to create carton packaging.
• During machine operation this position changes press size using cassette system and performs web press make-ready functions.
• Assists in mounting printing plates on plate cylinders and blankets on blankets cylinders; perform rotary die cutter make-ready and startups per proofs.
