Job summary

Great Northern Oshkosh is seeking an Offset Press Assistant to help set up and operate printing presses for carton packaging. You will adjust press sizes using cassette systems, perform make-ready, and mount plates and blankets as required.

Responsibilities include rotary die cutter make-ready and startups per approved proofs, with a 2:00 pm–12:00 am shift on Monday–Thursday and overtime as needed. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Position Summary

The Offset Press Assistant helps with the set-up and operation of machines that print specialized customer designs on paper that is used to create carton packaging.During machine operation this position changes press size using cassette system, performs web press make-ready functions, assists in mounting of printing plates on plate cylinders, in mounting of blankets on blanket and coating cylinders, perform rotary die cutter make-ready and startups per customer approved proofs, and other tasks as assigned.

Pay/Schedule

• $25.00 per hour
• $2.00 shift differential for nights
• 2 nd Shift (2:00 pm – 12:00 am), Monday-Thursday, flexibility for overtime is required.
