Join Innovairre Communications: We Help People Who Help PeopleEvery day at Innovairre, your craftsmanship fuels the missions of nonprofits around the globe. As the worldwide leader in nonprofit fundraising, we support 500+ marketing agencies, nonprofits, and commercial brands with 4,000+ colleagues across five continents and 28 countries. Our in-house production, creative, data, and digital teams work as one to deliver high-impact, cost-effective direct mail.A Day in the LifeYou arrive to your press, review the job ticket, and start your setup: mount plates, dial in ink and water balance, and lock in color. Once the press is humming at optimal speed, you’re watching densities and registration like a hawk—making on-the-fly adjustments to keep every sheet on spec. If a defect appears, you catch it fast, correct, and continue. Between runs, you change plates, blankets, and cylinders; clean fountains; recalibrate systems; and document counts, makereadies, and waste with precision. Before you leave, you brief the next shift on status and any production concerns so they can hit the ground running. What You’ll OwnFull setup, operation, and care of the offset press to meet quality and schedule targetsPlate, blanket, and cylinder changes; ink fountain and unit cleaning as neededInk/water balance, color matching, and color set adjustments throughout the runContinuous quality checks, defect detection, and corrective actionMachine adjustments to sustain throughput and minimize downtimeRoutine recalibration and preventative/predictive productivity maintenanceAccurate tracking of counts, makereadies, and wasteClear communication of job status at shift handoff and timely escalation of issues to the Team LeadStrict adherence to safety practices, including lock-out/tag-out and HazComWhat You BringHigh school diploma or GED3+ years operating offset presses with a strong grasp of lithography, color management, and finishingMechanical aptitude and the ability to read job instructions accuratelyComfort with both computer interfaces and mechanical systemsKnowledge of predictive and productive maintenance approachesFocus on speed, quality, and uptimePhysical ability to stand for long periods (including 10–12 hours on concrete), bend, perform repetitive motions, and regularly lift 25 lbs (occasionally up to 40 lbs)Reliability, punctuality, accountability for quality, and strong interpersonal communication—able to work independently and as part of a teamLocations1174 Elkton Farm Road, Forest, Virginia 24551, United States1805 East Washington Street, Mount Pleasant, Iowa 52641, United StatesWork SettingOnsiteCompensation$20–$28BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance; retirement savings plan; short- and long-term disability; life insurance; EAP; PTO; holidays; sick and volunteer days; and tuition assistance.EEO StatementWe are an equal opportunity employer. We recruit, employ, train, compensate, and promote regardless of race, religion, color, national origin, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), sexual orientation, transgender status, disability, age, family or marital status, genetic information, military or veteran status, and other protected status as required by applicable law.At our Company, we have a clear vision: to foster and maintain a supportive and cooperative workplace that celebrates uniqueness and advances equity.
