  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude or ability to pass a mechanical assessment.
  • Knowledge of printing process documentation and adherence to specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, adjust, and operate offset and direct image printing equipment to meet production and quality standards.
  • Operate auxiliary equipment such as cutters and plate-making systems.
  • Review and follow job specifications and production documentation to ensure accuracy.
  • Monitor equipment performance and identify, troubleshoot, and correct malfunctions.
  • Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and machine adjustments to maintain optimal performance.
  • Notify leadership of required repairs or replacement parts.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained in safe working condition.
  • Support training of team members as assigned.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and cross-functional teams on projects and process improvements.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Apply LEAN principles to improve quality, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, cost, and customer satisfaction.

The Opportunity

Operate offset and direct image printing equipment to support high-quality, efficient production. This role is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and maintaining printing machinery while ensuring adherence to specifications, safety standards, and production goals. A typical day includes reviewing job specifications, preparing equipment, monitoring print quality, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with maintenance and other departments to ensure continuous workflow and operational excellence.

Shifts: They are three days/nights a week and are 12 hour shifts.

The starting rate is $20 per hour, depending on your role, level, experience, and location. Your actual pay will be based on your work location and other factors, such as your skills, experience, and education.
