Job summary

Staffmark Group in Houston, TX is hiring an Offset Digital Bindery Operator to join our production team. The role offers Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM with a pay rate of $16.00 per hour.

You will operate, adjust, and monitor bindery equipment to produce high-quality printed materials, following work orders and safety procedures. Requires a high school diploma or GED and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate, adjust, troubleshoot, and maintain bindery equipment to produce high-quality printed materials.
• Review work orders and job specifications to ensure accurate production and timely completion.
• Perform finishing tasks including cutting, folding, trimming, binding, packaging, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Update job status information in company systems and communicate production progress as needed.
• Maintain equipment and perform routine housekeeping to ensure a clean, safe work environment.
• Operate pallet jacks and assist with material movement throughout the facility.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals while following all safety procedures.

Job Duties

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous bindery, printing, manufacturing, production, or finishing experience preferred
• Experience operating bindery equipment such as cutters, folders, trimmers, gluers, and binders preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Ability to read work orders, follow instructions, and maintain production standards
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills

Physical Capabilities

• Physical requirements vary by assignment and will be discussed during the hiring process.
• Candidates should be able to safely perform the essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift
• Ability to safely operate bindery and material-handling equipment, including pallet jacks
• Strong attention to detail while maintaining quality and productivity standards
