Job summary
Eastern Truck & Accessories is seeking an experienced Automotive Accessory Technician / Mechanic to join our team in Norfolk. You will work on trucks, Jeeps, SUVs, and other specialty vehicles, building, modifying, and maintaining them with pride.
The ideal candidate installs aftermarket suspensions, wiring, and a wide range of accessories, while keeping safety and quality at the forefront. Tools, teamwork, and a solid work ethic are essential.
Qualifications
- Previous professional automotive technician or accessory installation experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to read and follow installation instructions and technical information.
- Experience with common automotive hand and power tools.
Responsibilities
- Install & service aftermarket suspension systems and lift kits.
- Diagnose drivetrain, suspension, steering and brake components.
- Install bumpers, steps, fenders, lights, and other accessories.
- Assist with wheel/tire mounting and alignments.
- Follow manufacturer installation instructions and torque specs.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
