Werner Enterprises is seeking a warehouse associate in Lakeland, FL to unload tractor trailer loads of brand-new furniture, scan items, and place them in marked locations for delivery. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and strict adherence to safety procedures.

• Experience in warehouse/retail stock room environments.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Unload tractor trailer loads of brand-new furniture and scan into marked locations for delivery.
• Prepare orders by processing requests, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in the delivery area.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat and orderly, and by following procedures.

Description

Unload tractor trailer loads of brand-new furniture. Scan and place into marked locations to be set for delivery. Prepares orders by processing request and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area. Perform other duties as assigned. Schedule: Start time 4:00 am to 12:30pm / 5 days a week/ Tues - Sat.

Responsibilities

Warehouse/Retail Stock Room/Distribution Environment Experience Preferred. Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat, maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures rule and regulations. Regularly push, pull, lift, lower and move items weighing upwards of 100 lbs. Use of the trash compactor experience is a plus. Offer Dependent on Background Screening, Drug test, and Physical
