Job summary

Werner Enterprises is seeking a Warehouse Associate to unload tractor-trailer loads of brand-new furniture and scan items into marked locations for delivery preparation. You will prepare orders by pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in the delivery area while maintaining a safe, clean workspace.

Qualifications

• Warehouse/retail stock room/distribution environment experience preferred.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat, maintaining clean shipping supply area.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Unload tractor trailer loads of brand-new furniture.
• Scan and place into marked locations to be set for delivery.
• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment; clean shelves and workstations; keep shipping supply area organized.
• Use of the trash compactor is a plus.
