Job summary

Werner Enterprises is seeking an Unloader for the White Glove Delivery - Werner Final Mile team at the Crafton, PA warehouse. This on-site role unloads furniture from tractor-trailer loads and stages items for delivery to customers.

Schedule is full-time, Tue-Sat, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year in transportation/logistics or furniture delivery, and the ability to communicate in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years transportation / logistics experience or delivery of furniture or appliances.
• Must be 18 years old and able to perform essential functions.
• Speak English and read assembly instructions.
• Learn how to assemble standard wooden dining room chair(s).

Responsibilities

• Unload tractor trailer loads of furniture and stage for deliveries.
• Report defects or damages to management.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Dispose of waste from the assembly process.
• Interact professionally with delivery teams and customers.
• Use equipment safely to ensure team safety.
• Follow delivery processes to meet customer expectations.
• Assist the Delivery Driver with placement of delivery items as specified by the Customer.
• Report customer satisfaction issues to management.
• Exhibit reliable attendance and be able to work a flexible schedule.

Landmark: West Steuben St. / Caliente Pizza & Draft House

Work Environment: On site - Warehouse

Shift: $ 17.00 / Full Time / Tue- Sat / 5 day work schedule / 12n-8pm

Job Summary

• Physical warehouse position unloading tractor trailer loads of furniture and staging it for deliveries.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform a minimum daily assembly output as provided by the management
• Report any defects or damages of any parts immediately to the management
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace and environment
• Properly dispose of all waste accumulated during the assembly process
• Perform professionally and effectively when interacting with Drive Teams
• Use equipment properly to ensure the safety of all team members
• Follow delivery processes to ensure Customer expectations are met and/or exceeded
• Assist the Delivery Driver execute the placement of delivery items as specified by the Customer
• Report all customer satisfaction issues to the management
• Must be able to communicate effectively, get along with co-workers, customers, and supervisors
• Embrace the Werner Final Mile Values A continuous pattern of regular and prompt attendance is required in addition with the ability to work a flexible schedule

QUALIFICATIONS

• Computer proficiency: Microsoft Applications and other operational or client systems
• High school graduate or equivalent experience.
• One plus years transportation / Logistics / customer product assembly / delivery of furniture or appliances, or experience with a moving company.
• Must be 18 years old. Able to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Speak English and communicate with coworkers and read assembly instructions.
• Learn how to assembly standard wooden dining room chair(s).
