Job Description

YOUR ROLE

As the full-time Store Team Leader, you are the CEO of your store! You are an entrepreneurial-minded business owner who takes pride in maximizing the daily operations of your store. You are passionate about developing a strong team through effective coaching and training, you are a pro at making tough, strategic decisions to drive your business, you consistently deliver operational excellence and your store always meets AEO Brand Standards. Most importantly, you bring your authentic self to work every day!

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. You have a passion for driving results: You excel at increasing sales by optimizing store productivity and building guest loyalty through exceptional guest experiences. You create, manage, and own your store's business plan to meet KPI goals.
  2. You're a business innovator: You own the controllable elements of your store's P&L, analyze reports and sales trends, and make real-time decisions to achieve financial goals.
  3. You're a people leader: You recruit, hire, and retain high-performing team members. You foster their development, encourage internal growth opportunities, and maintain a clear career path for associates through training, feedback, and performance reviews.
  4. You know that teamwork makes the dream work: You promote a culture of teamwork and recognition by setting clear goals, holding your team accountable to brand standards, and celebrating outstanding performance.
  5. Your store rocks AEO Brand Standards: You ensure visual and merchandising standards are consistently maintained, oversee Floorsets and merchandise adjustments, and ensure your team understands their roles in keeping the store guest-ready.
  6. Workforce Management: You create effective schedules based on traffic and sales data, manage payroll, and leverage top talent to deliver excellent guest service.
  7. Integrity: You demonstrate integrity in compensation decisions, asset protection, adherence to policies, and doing the right thing always.
