Job description

This is a critical role that involves independently resolving most issues, particularly complex problems such as addressing NTC concerns highlighted by the Global AML team, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness to ensure no escalations.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail and analytical thinking to make informed judgments and recommendations based on thorough analysis. It is essential to ensure all parameters are correctly submitted and maintained, with proper documentation like UAT sign-offs for all critical parameter requests. Requestors must also provide necessary approvals and attestations to comply with Wealth Risk & Controls’ Minimum Control Requirements and Guidelines for all Wealth Client Communications and Marketing Materials.

Extensive collaboration with stakeholders—including vendors like Toppan and Datapost, product managers, AML compliance, operations, and technology—is vital for supporting operational and business initiatives, process controls, and system enhancements.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Serving as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for banking systems, including critical systems such as Liabilities (IMPACS, RC+, Dynamic Pricing, Transaction Limits, Statements/Advice, Debit/ATM cards) and Single Demographics (RM).
2. Conducting due diligence checks on parameter maintenance, ensuring strong controls are in place, and adherence to Wealth Risk & Controls’ Minimum Control Requirements and Guidelines.
3. Investigating customer issues related to supported functions.
4. Identifying process improvements and gaps to enhance operational efficiency and control effectiveness.
5. Participating in system enhancements, COB testing, audits, MCA, and project testing and implementation.
6. Aiming for optimal productivity and accuracy.
