Experience

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

• Ability to deal with and to communicate tactfully and effectively with all people under stressful circumstances.
• Ability to meet the standards established by the Medical Center.
• Ability to learn and operate computers, computer based dispatching and report writing, and operate proprietary central fire system and/or other computer based systems when needed.
• Has knowledge of principles and methods of maintaining building and ground security.
• Ability to investigate incidents fully dealing with victims, witnesses and suspects in a tactful manner, and filing a thorough report of the incident.
• Ability to handle money transactions.
• Ability to accept change and constructive criticism

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum one-year experience in security and public contact preferred.
• Experience in crisis intervention and evaluation preferred
