Office Technician II

The Utah Division of Child & Family Services (DCFS) Ogden office is seeking a highly motivated individual with professional work experience in an office setting to fill their Office Technician II position. Become part of a team of professionals working together to keep children safe and strengthen families in our communities!
Answering phones.
Stamping and distributing mail
Mailing certified mail to clients or sheriff; tracking in SAFE case.
Maintaining the upkeep of office equipment.
Monitoring and stocking office supplies.
Maintaining Supervised visit rooms and lobby for cleanliness and organization.
Contacting building representatives when building issues present themselves.
Maintaining and assisting with the fleet of Utah state vehicles for the Ogden office
Collecting BCI / Livescan paperwork.
Collecting GRAMA paperwork and scanning for processing.
Maintaining current phone lists, organizational charts, and community lists.
Assisting workers with any help or assistance they may need
The model candidate for this position is someone who:
Has professional work experience working in an office setting answering phones for a large office.
Is adept at dealing with people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism.
Maintains confidentiality.
Is skilled with using Microsoft Word, Excel t, and Google add ons to create and prepare documents.
Communicates effectively, clearly, and concisely verbally and in writing.
