Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of land surveying experience.
• Working knowledge of PLSS and the BLM Survey Manual.
• Willingness to study for the LSIT exam.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform office-based technical surveying tasks such as calculations, CAD drafting, contour surface creation and processing, and ALTA/NSPS surveys.
• Assist in preparing survey drawings using AutoCAD; knowledge of AutoCAD and Trimble Business Center.
• Review and process field survey data for office-based processing.
• Manage data transfer between field data collectors and office systems.
• Research public records for property boundaries and survey areas.
• Meet schedules and productivity objectives set by supervision.
