Huitt-Zollars, Inc. seeks a Survey Technician in Phoenix, AZ to handle office-based technical surveying tasks, including calculations, CAD drafting, and ALTA/NSPS surveys. The role supports field operations and data processing with AutoCAD and Trimble software.

Office-based, full-time position with growth opportunities. The candidate should have at least 1 year of land surveying experience, PLSS knowledge, and be willing to pursue LSIT.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of land surveying experience.
• PLSS knowledge and familiarity with the BLM Survey Manual.
• Willingness to study for the LSIT test.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform office-based technical surveying tasks such as calculations, CAD drafting, contour surface creation, and ALTA/NSPS surveys.
• Prepare survey drawings using AutoCAD; use Trimble Business Center.
• Review field survey data for office processing.
• Process office data and support field operations, including data transfer to data collectors.
• Search public records for property boundaries and survey areas.
• Meet schedules and productivity objectives set by supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
