Description:

Employees in this position are responsible for performing various administrative and office duties in assisting departmental management in carrying out required administrative operations. Duties or combination of duties performed vary, depending on the department to which assigned. Some employees in the position perform specialized duties of a supervisory nature relating to a specific program. Responsibilities typically include analyzing administrative problems and recommending solutions, developing revised procedure and policy recommendations for the department, and maintaining contact with management, supervisory personnel, physicians and patients within or outside the departments. Incumbents exercise some independent judgment in devising and installing new work methods, interpreting rules, regulations and procedures and in making recommendations to superiors. General supervision is received from an administrative superior who reviews work for conformity with established administrative and departmental policies and attainment of desired objectives through conferences and review of reports of operations.

Estimated salary range for this position is $52740.06 - $68562.08 / year depending on experience.

Degrees:

  • High School, Certificate, GED, Training, Experience.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Associate degree preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite.
  • Planning and priority setting skills to manage multiple priorities.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Solid relationship skills and capacity to align and lead different work groups to achieve the organizational mission.
  • Must be able to take initiative, work independently.
  • Knowledge specific to area/department.
