Role Overview

This position performs a variety of administrative and operational functions in support of the venue team.

Responsibilities
  • Draft letters, reports, and other correspondence accurately and timely.
  • Provide information regarding events, operations, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain files and records, including attendance, event files, expense records, and employee files.
  • Prepare schedules as required.
  • Enforce and stay informed of corporate policies and office functions daily.
  • Meet with vendors and Non-Profit Groups to assist with negotiating contracts, scheduling, and completing required services.
  • Maintain and order office supplies and materials using corporate programs.
  • Manage records for current and closed files.
  • Maintain contracts and lease agreements for office equipment.
  • Prepare cost projections for office maintenance expenses.
  • Review or prepare labor schedules.
  • Perform other duties as required, including duties of other positions like Cash Room Supervisor, Accounting Clerk, and Payroll Clerk.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma.
  • Minimum six months of experience in office management principles and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently, exercising judgment and initiative.
  • Excellent verbal and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and typing skills.
  • Ability to participate in a team environment.
  • Good understanding of written and oral instructions and effective communication.
  • Mobility to attend meetings and events, with hours possibly extending to nights, weekends, and holidays. Travel may be required.
