Join the MercyOne Family! We are hiring an Office Receptionist.
As an Office Receptionist at MercyOne, you will coordinate all patient activities, including greeting patients and families, processing patient registrations efficiently and courteously, obtaining accurate patient demographics and insurance information, and securing necessary consents. You will serve as the initial point of contact for patients entering the clinics, explaining patient account charges, verifying insurance, and entering data for patient charges. Your duties also include greeting, instructing, directing, and scheduling patients and visitors, transferring incoming calls to appropriate staff, and coordinating requests with medical support staff, including managing provider inbox requests and medical records.
