Minimum Special Hiring Rate: $32,240.00
Under general supervision, performs full-performance level clerical work. Direct inmate contact. Answers phones and takes messages; performs clerical work for the full function of a department or unit; responsible for maintaining a daily log; creates various forms and documents; taking and delivering messages; maintains accurate records; contacts designated personnel regarding inmates; requisitions and orders supplies. Performs related work as required. Assist in security post as needed.
Training:
Graduation from a standard high school or the equivalent.
Experience:
Two years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in routine office work.
Substitution:
College hours, related business school, or vocational training may be substituted through an established formula for the required experience.
