The Dental Office Manager oversees and manages the daily activities of the dental office and staff to ensure efficient operations, service delivery, and expense control. They develop and implement procedures and policies for all administrative activities within the Dental Office. The Dental Office Manager will manage record-keeping, document preparation, reception, bill or invoice processing, maintenance services, technical support, project coordination/scheduling, and other related internal operations.
Bachelor’s degree preferred. 5+ years of progressive management experience At least three years of work experience managing a dental office and excellent customer service Strong understanding of insurance, billing, and treatment planning Dental software proficiency
Must be able to carry and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds. This position will require sitting for long periods of time, walking, standing, bending, and walking, as well as using fine motor skills, such as finger dexterity for typing and using small hand tools. This position requires average to above average visual acuity and hearing. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to read memos, computer screens, personnel forms, and clinical and administrative documents
