Purpose of the Job
As the Office Manager for the North America region, you will be the driving force behind seamless office operations across multiple locations. Based in our Chicago office, you will support the Global Real Estate + Workspace Strategy team by managing administrative functions, facilities and vendor relationships. Your role is essential in creating a productive, safe and engaging work environment that supports our business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all office-related matters across North America.
- Onboard new employees, providing guidance on office procedures, tools and expectations.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Information Security, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity standards.
- Maintain and manage emergency response plans, including scheduling and executing fire drills.
- Oversee office supplies and inventory, ensuring cost-effective procurement and usage.
- Coordinate with Group Real Estate and local contractors for office moves, expansions and renovations.
- Plan and support office events and employee engagement initiatives.
- Supervise third-party services including cleaning, security, maintenance, and courier operations.
- Maintain and troubleshoot office equipment (e.g., printers, coffee machines, water dispensers).
- Build and manage relationships with landlords, contractors and service providers.
- Ensure the physical office environment is clean, safe and conducive to productivity.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve accountancy and budget-related matters.
- Act as a culture ambassador, promoting company values and fostering a positive workplace atmosphere.
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
- 5+ years of experience in office management, facilities coordination, or a related administrative role.
- Proven ability to manage multiple office locations and remote support functions.
- Strong organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluent in English.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Proactive, adaptable, and professional demeanor.
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally on short notice.

For Illinois based applicants: The US base salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, certifications and work location. This range may be different in other locations due to differences in cost of labor. The total compensation for this package includes an annual performance bonus target in addition to base salary.
