Business Development Manager – Vitamin E - Any ADM US office

Position Summary: The Business Development Manager for Vitamin E is responsible for driving global growth, primarily focusing on Vitamin E, with some support for Sterols, Isoflavones, and Fibersol. The role involves executing daily business needs to support revenue and volume growth targets and identifying opportunities to expand the global Vitamin E business.

Strategy

  • Expand opportunities for the global Vitamin E product portfolio
  • Develop a 5-year growth plan focusing on key customer targets, market expansion, and application targets
  • Establish goals and objectives, guiding the business through stable or changing market conditions, and collaborating to achieve these goals
  • Possibly have some direct sales responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Drive profitability by partnering with sales and marketing to maximize revenue for branded products
  • Analyze market dynamics and identify opportunities for sales expansion
  • Develop a deep understanding of competitive market dynamics at supplier, customer, and consumer levels
  • Gather and communicate market intelligence to understand the global marketplace
  • Report market trends and identify new product and market expansion opportunities
  • Support special projects related to market changes and expansion

Team Collaboration

  • Coordinate product value proposition development with marketing and analysis teams
  • Support new product development and collaborative efforts within and outside ADM
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, technical services, and R&D to drive sales
  • Support innovation projects related to the product line

Customer Engagement

  • Develop new value-added partnerships
  • Build brand awareness among consumers and customers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • 5+ years of sales and business development experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Preferred experience in the Vitamin E market
  • Basic understanding of the ingredient business and willingness to learn scientific aspects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong work ethic
  • Willingness to travel approximately 40% across North America
