Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an office manager with grain experience to oversee day-to-day operations at our Nebraska location. You will work with location staff to manage trucks, grading, and office tasks.

Responsibilities include coordinating with main office, maintaining a safe, organized workspace, and adhering to safety policies while supporting location goals. This role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and reliable communication.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience or ability to learn.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the location manager.
  • Scale/grade all inbound/outbound grain trucks; assist with grading samples during rail operations.
  • Assist with rail operations when necessary.
  • Work with main office administrators to help process work.
  • Maintain a clean and professional office space.
  • Promote a safe work culture and follow safety policies.
  • Know the location emergency action plan and worker protection standards information.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve location goals.

Purpose & Summary StatementWe are searching for a talented and skilled office manager who has proven experience with grain office duties. Must be a team player with strong attention to detail.ResponsibilitiesReports directly to the location manager.Responsible for scaling / grading all inbound/outbound grain trucks, assist with grading samples during rail operations and assist with rail operations when necessary.Work with main office administrators to help process work. Maintain clean and professional office space.Flexibility to work with other locations and departments as needed.Clearly and concisely convey information with customers, other team members, grain superintendent, and report to location manager in a positive manner.Promote a safe work culture through leadership and personal actions. Follow all safety policies and take accountabilities for all co-workers doing the same.Know the location emergency action plan and location of worker protection standards information. Understand locational goals and take it upon yourself to achieve or exceed these goals.Exhibits emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and teamwork skills with others through collaboration.Listening at appropriate times and allows for constructive feedback from others. Shows and receives earned respect from others.Participates in team building activities, on and off the work site.Responsible for maintaining a safe, organized, and professional facility always.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent qualification.2 years or more of relevant experience or ability to learn.
