Adams 12 Five Star Schools is seeking a School-Based Support/ Office Manager for an elementary setting in Thornton, CO. The role focuses on keeping the administrative office running smoothly, handling finances, communications and staff coordination.
The position is temporary, part of a 1.0 FTE schedule with 40 hours per week for 10 months per year, paying an hourly rate between $24.74 and $31.27 depending on steps and experience.

Responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the elementary school administrative office. Provide administrative assistance to the Principal, administrators, office and school staff and students by managing the school's financial records and transactions through use of district information technology systems, answering/screening phone calls, preparing correspondence and other written communication, receiving and responding to inquiries and requests, coordinating meetings and events, supervising office staff, performing various personnel management functions, managing crisis situations, handling confidential information and other related duties.

All Classified positions are paid on an hourly basis. All Newly hired classified employees are placed initially on Step 1 of the pay grade for their position. Classified employees can advance an additional 7 steps (maximum Step 8) based on their previous experience. Final hourly placement on the Classified Salary schedule is dependent on the Grade Level for the position being posted and employees' previous work experience.
