Job Overview
The Office Manager plays a critical role in overseeing location-specific accounting and administrative operations. This position ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with internal controls, and efficient administrative support to maintain smooth day-to-day operations. The Office Manager serves as the primary liaison for accounting and record-keeping, supports payroll processes, and assists with internal audits while maintaining a well-organized office environment.

Essential Responsibilities
- Act as the onsite accounting and finance liaison, ensuring accurate and timely completion of daily sales reporting, cash reconciliation, payroll preparation, and accounts payable submission.
- Conduct financial trend analysis and assist in identifying areas for improvement in expense management and operational processes.
- Serve as the property scorekeeper, ensuring adherence to internal controls and supporting internal audits by reporting discrepancies and non-compliance.
- Oversee payroll accounting processes, including auditing time entries and tips, while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
- Manage administrative tasks such as maintaining up-to-date licenses and permits, record retention, and office organization.
- Perform bookkeeping duties, including preparing daily sales summaries, reconciling petty cash, processing change orders, and documenting labor transfers.
- Address guest inquiries related to credit card transactions professionally, ensuring a positive guest experience.
- Maintain a well-organized office environment, ensuring compliance postings and necessary supplies are readily available.
- Assist the General Manager and restaurant management team with additional operational tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, internal audit, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), or office management, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Proficiency in payroll accounting, including a solid understanding of payroll laws and regulations.
- Familiarity with internal auditing practices and the ability to assess compliance with company policies.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) and experience with accounting software (Restaurant 365 preferred).
- Toast POS experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and basic payroll accounting practices
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with management and support teams.
- Commitment to upholding all company policies and procedures.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and contribute to process improvements.
