Job Description

USF Health consists of four colleges: the Morsani College of Medicine, the College of Public Health, the College of Nursing, and the College of Pharmacy. The USF Health Office of Research, under the direction of the Senior Associate Vice President of Research, provides centralized services and shared resources for the colleges to facilitate their research missions. We also foster cross-college, interdisciplinary, research endeavors and funding opportunities, including interactions with our affiliates and teaching hospitals

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Associate Vice President for Research and Office of Research leadership, including scheduling meetings, coordinating calendars, maintaining appointment schedules, and arranging travel accommodations and related documentation.
  • Coordinate meeting logistics, including reserving conference rooms, preparing meeting materials, distributing agendas, and recording and distributing meeting notes as needed.
  • Assist with the coordination and tracking of departmental projects, events, and initiatives by maintaining timelines, monitoring assignments, and providing status updates to leadership and team members.
  • Prepare, edit, and distribute correspondence, reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and other documents in support of departmental operations.
  • Assist with data gathering and routine report preparation to support departmental operations, program activities, and leadership requests.
  • Serve as a point of contact for faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders by responding to routine inquiries and directing requests to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with monitoring administrative deadlines and ensuring timely completion and submission of required documents, forms, and reports.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with six years of experience in office or administrative positions. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
