We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Office Manager to join our team in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in office management and a strong understanding of administrative procedures. As an Office Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and providing essential support to our staff.

Your responsibilities:

Office Administration:

  • Open and close the office daily.

  • Manage employee attendance and time off requests.

  • Coordinate travel arrangements and process expense reports.

  • Act as the primary point of contact with headquarters.

  • Maintain office subscriptions and services.

  • Organize and coordinate interviews for potential candidates.

Financial Management:

  • Manage external payroll services.

  • Monitor and control office expenses.

Facilities Management:

  • Ensure the smooth running of the office and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with building management.

Onboarding and Training:

  • Manage the onboarding process for new employees.

  • Facilitate training sessions and ensure all necessary resources are available.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3+ years in an office management role.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent communication and interaction skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience with payroll and expense management software is a plus
