Job summary

Carson City Treasurer's Office in Carson City, NV seeks a full-time, non-exempt office professional to provide technical and specialized clerical support under general supervision. You will manage databases, reconcile financial data, and prepare reports while interpreting policies for staff and the public.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a High School Diploma or GED; AND two years of clerical experience or equivalent.
• Ability to develop and manage databases and spreadsheets, with basic report generation.
• Knowledge of financial record keeping and business arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex technical or specialized office support tasks with independent judgment.
• Uses computers to manage databases and develop special report formats.
• Reviews and reconciles varied reports and financial data including budget and payroll.
• Maintains subsidiary ledgers, posts data, and may generate general ledger entries.
• Provides information to the public and City staff requiring policy interpretation.
