Hinojosa Law is seeking a dependable Office Custodian to maintain a clean, welcoming corporate office in Weslaco, TX. You will manage daily cleaning tasks, sanitize facilities, and support event setups while ensuring safety and confidentiality in a legal office environment.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision, performing physical duties including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.

Responsabilités

• Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum floors in common areas, offices, and conference rooms.
• Clean windows (including exterior) and mirrors per building protocols.
• Disinfect restrooms and breakrooms daily for health and safety.
• Empty trash and recycling as part of daily waste management.
• Organize desks, tables, breakrooms, and storage areas with minimal disruption to operations.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and detergents.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down tables, chairs, and materials for events.
• Staff office events as required and assist with exterior building cleanliness.
• Ensure exterior doors are secured at the end of shifts and maintain exterior cleanliness.

About the Role

Hinojosa Law is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Office Custodian to help keep our professional environment clean, welcoming, and well‑maintained. The ideal candidate will maintain an orderly environment for our corporate office, while managing inventory and the safe cleanup of the exterior and interior of the building. Responsibilities

• Office Maintenance: Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum hard floors and carpets across common areas, offices, and conference rooms. Clean office windows (including exterior windows) and mirrors. Clean all office areas according to building protocols.
• Sanitization: Disinfect and clean restrooms, breakrooms, and high-touch surface points daily to ensure health and safety compliance.
• Waste Management: Empty trash, recycling, and administrative waste bins daily according to building protocols.
• Daily Support: Organize, wipe down, and clear physical desks, conference tables, breakroom tables, multi‑purpose tables, patio tables and storage areas without disrupting office operations.
• Supply Inventory: Monitor and manage cleaning chemicals, paper goods, and soap stocks, requesting replenishment before shortages occur.
• Event Setup: Assist in setting up and breaking down tables, chairs, and materials for office events or corporate meetings.
• Attend Events: Attend and staff events at the office according to office and event protocols.
• Exterior Maintenance: Sweep, collect trash, use a blower, and maintain the exterior cleanliness of the building.
• Facility Security: Ensure exterior doors are opened at the start of your shift and are properly locked at the conclusion of the shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Prior experience experience cleaning offices, warehouses, or commercial buildings preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Must be trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality in a legal office environment.
• Pass pre-employment background screening, drug test, and employment verification.
• Physical requirements of the job consist of lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, reaching, prolonged standing, and walking.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
