The Illinois Department of Natural Resources is seeking to hire an Office Coordinator for the Office of Land Management. This position will act as a liaison and maintain records and files for site and satellites; orally or in writing, explains procedures, rules and regulations, park programming, and/or services to contractors, vendors, other parks, and the public, utilizing bilingual skills (Spanish/English); schedule appointments and make travel, training and meeting arrangements; monitor the budget and prepare periodic budget state reports tracking expenditures; assist the Superintendent with budget constraints by sharing accurate fiscal records upon request; and prepare all income and petty cash account records, monthly reconciliations, and annual reports. Charged with preserving, protecting, and promoting Illinois’ natural resources, the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) employees oversee water, wildlife, wetlands and oil wells, parks, historic sites – and everything in between.
