Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking an administrative professional to support day-to-day office operations and assist leadership in coordinating resources. This role emphasizes timely task execution, accurate record-keeping, and professional communication to keep the home health team functioning smoothly.

Candidates should have strong Microsoft Office skills, reliable transportation, and a commitment to in-person collaboration to meet Enhabit’s service goals and patient-centered care

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
• Basic technology skills including operation of a mobile device.
• Valid state driver's license and automobile liability insurance.
• Experience in home health or hospice settings preferred.
• Experience with medical records scheduling or office administration/hr preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Strong English communication and listening skills.
• In-office attendance is required for most roles.

Responsibilities

Responsible for supporting all office operations to ensure tasks are performed timely and accurately. Assists leadership to ensure employees are supported and guided to the correct resources or personnel. Serves in and supports any role as needed to contribute to daily office operations.

Qualifications

• Required to have High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred to have Associate's Degree or higher.
• Required to have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.
• Required to have and maintain a valid state driver license in the current state of residence
• Required to have and maintain automobile liability insurance, as required by law
• Highly preferred minimum one year experience working in a home health or hospice setting involving medical records scheduling, or office administration/human resources.
• Preferred minimum of six months’ experience in medical records in a health care office.
• Preferred previous experience using Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
• Oral communication, written communication, fluency in English, active listening.
• Demonstrated intermediate technology skills. Especially Microsoft office, including word and excel.
• Other than for designated full-time remote positions, in-office attendance is essential in order to achieve Enhabit objectives, including but not limited to, effective supervision, teamwork, task completion, and other position objectives.
• Enhabit does not waive this essential function by permitting duties to be performed remotely on occasion to accommodate temporary personal needs, such as appointments, or to operate in crises beyond its control, such as during a natural disasteror pandemic.
