Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice seeks an office administrator to support day-to-day operations and coordinate with leadership to ensure resources are available. The role requires reliable in-person presence to maintain supervision, teamwork, and task completion.

Ideal candidates will have a HS diploma, basic tech skills, and experience with medical records scheduling or HR/office administration, preferably in home health/hospice settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Basic technology skills including operation of a mobile device.
• Valid state driver license and automobile liability insurance.
• Experience in or knowledge of home health/hospice office operations.
• Experience with medical records scheduling or HR/office administration preferred.
• Experience using Homecare Homebase (HCHB) preferred.
• Proficient in English with strong oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

Responsible for supporting all office operations to ensure tasks are performed timely and accurately. Assists leadership to ensure employees are supported and guided to the correct resources or personnel. Serves in and supports any role as needed to contribute to daily office operations.

Qualifications

• Required to have High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred to have Associate's Degree or higher.
• Required to have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.
• Required to have and maintain a valid state driver license in the current state of residence
• Required to have and maintain automobile liability insurance, as required by law
• Highly preferred minimum one year experience working in a home health or hospice setting involving medical records scheduling, or office administration/human resources.
• Preferred minimum of six months’ experience in medical records in a health care office.
• Preferred previous experience using Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
• Oral communication, written communication, fluency in English, active listening.
• Demonstrated intermediate technology skills. Especially Microsoft office, including word and excel.
• Other than for designated full‑time remote positions, in‑office attendance is essential in order to achieve Enhabit objectives, including but not limited to, effective supervision, teamwork, task completion, and other position objectives.
