Job summary

PulteHomes of Minnesota is seeking an administrative professional to support our accounts payable and general clerical functions. You will process invoices and tax bills, code payments, handle vendor communications, and help ensure timely, accurate processing of financial documents.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Proficiency in excel and various other software applications in support of department generated reports and documents
  • Accomplish routine and assigned administrative tasks including, but not limited to, communications flow, document handling, tracking, scheduling, prioritizing, follow up, and follow through
  • Process invoices, check requests and tax bills for payment including receiving, coding, confirming completion of work, and routing for review and approval
  • Ensure vendor compliance with insurance requirements by monitoring notices of expiration and following up with vendors
  • Prior experience with insurance compliance desirable
  • Track utility accounts and close/transfer to new owners as homes are closed
  • Assist Sales Contract Admin function; review and process sales contracts, process and code deposits; process deed packages and other closing documents
  • General office duties including filing, ordering supplies, processing mail and generating fed-ex labels
  • Participates in the Records Retention process for the Division
SCOPE
  • Contributes through independent work at the individual level.
  • No supervisory responsibilities.
  • Little interaction with others at the department level.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent in related field
  • Minimum 1-3 years prior accounts payable, general clerical experience Previous homebuilding or construction experience a plus

PAY INFORMATION

$31.00 - $35.00 hourly

Hired applicant will be eligible to earn overtime.

Hired applicant will be eligible to receive a bonus in the amount of approximately $3,000 - $5,000 annually.

In addition to up to 9 paid company holidays per year, employees are eligible for up to 6 days of sick pay. Moreover, eligible employees with less than 10 years of service can accrue up to 17 PTO days per year (and up to 22 PTO days per year upon 10 or more years of service).

Employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Plan. Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage. Employees are covered by company-paid disability, basic life insurance and parental leave. Voluntary insurance coverage options, including critical illness, accident, and hospital indemnity, are also available. In addition, the Company offers an Employee Assistance Program and tuition reimbursement (as applicable). Employees may also be eligible for state required benefits such as paid family and medical leave insurance and/or paid sick time as applicable.
