Position Summary: The Office Coordinator provides clerical and general support to the assigned department. The Office Coordinator promotes the effective flow of information and manages office services in a manner that positively supports hospital operations in a manner that is consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Lakeside Behavioral Health System.

Education

Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred High School Diploma required.

Experience:

Minimum of two year's administrative experience preferably in a behavioral health care setting, Prefer knowledge of office organization, time management and problem-solving skills; diplomacy, flexibility and telephone etiquette; excellant business skills and familiarity with business formats and principles for correspondence and files. Collaborate well with others. Basic math skills; excellant typing skills; attention to detail. Advanced computer skills required.

Knowledge

Prefer knowledge of crisis intervention and risk assessment, psychiatric diagnoses symptomology, basic chemical dependency, age specific growth and development and crisis and behavior management.
