Job description

The Distribution Center Office Coordinator is an administrative professional responsible for managing office communications and facilitating key tasks and procedures including invoicing and assigned as timekeeper for payroll purposes, also generally supporting the distribution/crossdock operations.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Manages flow of office operations and procedures, such as receiving process, bookkeeping, flow of correspondence, filing, requisition of supplies, and other clerical responsibilities, and ensures consistency.
  • Assigned as timekeeper for payroll, and supports operations to ensure associates are paid properly.
  • Reconciles payroll hours for temp and Crate associates and responsible for PM and other operational reporting requirements - including data entry and analysis.
  • Partners with operations to complete invoicing approval and submission.
  • Provides financial reporting and forecasting support.
  • Compiles, organize, and maintain records of business transactions.
  • Coordinates with various departments within the company to ensure compliance with processes and paperwork.
  • Maintains cleanliness and order of work areas.
  • Rotates through different departments, as necessary, to meet the demands of the business.
  • Participates in ongoing training regarding technology upgrades and new systems applicable to the position.
  • Performs all job tasks assigned by the leadership staff to achieve and maintain daily productivity and quality goals.

Experience Required

Physical and Visual Activities
  • On a daily basis, must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods depending on the day and task at issue. Must be able to constantly communicate and have visual acuity near and far. Ability to frequently operate computers/POS/office equipment, remain stationary or move around for long periods, handle paperwork, and/or push/pull. May occasionally carry files, reach, kneel, bend crouch/squat, and/or twist.
